|Collection||Mollie Sand collection|
|Level of description||Collection|
|Scope & Content||Accession consists of 1 envelope of photograph prints showing five images of the Cherry Carnival on the Exhibition Grounds, and nineteen (19) images of the Cherry Carnival parade at Five Corners, July 1, 1947.|
Photographs left at the museum, with type written note on envelope: To Kelly Harms, from Fred Bryant. These pictures were given to me by Mollie Sand (Martin) of 1560 Parkwood St. Agassiz B.C...She said that they were in her collection & that they had been taken in 1947 at the Chilliwack Cherry Carnival. I had met Mollie that year when we both attended the Rural Leadership School for 8 weeks at Acadia Camp U.B.C. She is active in Agassiz Museum & Historical Society. I recognize a few of them, but doubt about those with the livestock in them.
