|Admin/Biographical History||Edward Barrow and Millicent Whittle Barrow emigrated to Canada in 1891 from Hampshire, England. Edward Barrow was a farmer and the first president of the Fraser Valley Milk Producers Association in 1917-1918. In 1915, Barrow was elected as the Liberal M.L.A. for Chilliwack. In 1918, he became the Minister of Agriculture. E.D. Barrow died on December 28, 1956. Barrow's daughters, Dorothy and Hilda, who were both nurses and were both unmarried, managed the farm after his death. Hilda was born in 1906, and died in October, 1963. Dorothy was born in August 10, 1897 in Chilliwack and died in April, 1981.|
