Scope & Content Film reel consists of a colour feature film (8mm), without sound, documenting the Fraser River Flood of 1948. The film was created by the Boakes family, and includes footage of the Fraser River flowing through the Fraser Canyon, people and equipment working on dykes surrounding Chilliwack, and aerial views of various farms in the Greendale area inundated by the flood waters. Film also includes aerial views of flooded areas in Agassiz, Harrison, Mission, Greendale, as seen from Orion Bowman's airplane.
