Provenance |
Drafting template used by employees at the Fraser Valley Regional District [FVRD]. This drafting template is a flowcharting template, made by the International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) in the United States. This template conforms to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) International Standard 1028 - "InformationProcessing - Flowchart Symbols," and the American National Standard "Flowchart Symbols and Their Usage in Information Processing X3.5-1970." Drafting templates are stencils that allow the user to draw specific symbols and shapes that are repeatedly used in a design. By tracing around the holes, the user can quickly and accurately draw the shape required. This template has three types of symbols: basic symbols; processing and sequencing symbols related to programming; and, input/output, communication link, and processing symbols related to systems.
