CM 1655 Trophy Black, wooden base with silver-plated trophy mounted on top; six metal shields mounted on base; two metal handles on sides of cup. Reads: "DONATED BY / CHILLIWACK / FISH AND GAME PROTECTIVE ASSN. / TO / CHILLIWACK AGRICULTURAL ASSN. / BEST COLLECTION OF HORSES / EXHIBITED BY OWNER / TO BE WON 3 TIMES / FOR PERMANENT POSSESSION." Six metal shields on base read: " Wallace Bros. 1936, Dan Hunt 1937, Wallace Bros 1938, C.T. Worthington 1939, C.T. Worthington 1940, C.T. Worthington 1941." |

Original museum documentation states that the five trophies in this accession were won by Claude Worthington, for his Clydesdale horses. He bred horses from about 1935 to 1956. He showed his horses in Chilliwack and Vancouver (British Columbia), Toronto (Ontario), and Linden, Washington. He possibly showed his horses at the San Francisco Expo. The trophy is engraved, "Donated by the Chilliwack Fish and Game Protective Assn. To Chilliwack Agricultural Assn. Best Collection of Horses Exhibited by Owner.
