Roll tape originally sold in the Pearson Brothers Store. Pearson Brothers' Store built 1891, operated by, in turn, A.D. Campbell, Joseph Ogle, John Henry Ashwell, W.H. Holmes and Alan Langstaff. In 1919 Clifford and Ernie Pearson bought the store and it remained in family hands until 1974, when it was then closed. The 83 year old store needed extensive repair. Home deliveries, credit and service were hallmarks of the store. Branch Stores were opened during hop picking season. |
