Provenance |
Information from the donor's daughter indicates the Beldam family is from Sardis. The tassle may belong to either Girl Guide memorabilia or for that of the Imperial Order Daughters of the Empire. *****Curator's note: Louise Shaw, past curator Chilliwack Museum, wrote that the ornateness of the tassle was in keeping with Guide memorabilia and that as it was the right length for flag, CM 2230, that it probably relates to the IODE. |
