Description |
CM 4453 Trophy Silver plated with wooden pedestal base; cup with circular base with decorative outside edge; two plain handles on opposing sides; bowl with four grooves and attached metal "hanging" swag decoration of flowers; opening of cup somewhat square shaped with rounded corners; scalloped with beaded edge. Cup has a circlet with the crest of the Hudson's Bay Company. The base of the cup reads, "Won by A.C. Wells & Son. Provincial Exhibition 1907. For Best Exhibit of Cattle"; The pedestal base is marked "A18" and is also maker's marked, "Manufactured And Plated By Simpson Hall Miller & Co. U.S.A.". (a) cup (b) base |
